Andamooka Progress and Opal Miners Association
The Andamooka Progress and Opal Miners Association came into existence on March 2 1960.
The committee is a voluntary group of members who provide advice to and management for the community and a voice on local issues and priorities. Andamooka does not have an local council.
The committee normally meets on a monthly basis and dates for the meetings are circulated to the community by newsletter and emailing where appropriate. Meeting minutes are available to the public from the Association office, newsletter, email and website.
